JINAN, China — This September, Meide Group has received an EU-Type Examination Certificate under Module B of the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID 2014/32/EU) for its LXDG mechanical single-jet water meters.
Issued by EU notified body MRC (Mișcarea Română pentru Calitate), the certificate follows successful completion of all required type-examination tests. It confirms that the assessed product design meets the applicable MID requirements, supporting Meide Group’s development of water metering solutions for the European market.

Measuring range ratio: R160 (Q3/Q1)
Permanent flow rate Q3: 2.5 and 4.0 m³/h
Temperature class: T 50
Maximum admissible pressure: 16 bar
Maximum working admissible pressure: 1.6Mpa
Flow profile sensitivity classes: U0 D0 (EN ISO 4064)
The LXDG series provides mechanical water measurement under varying flow and pressure conditions within its rated operating range. The meters operate without an external power supply or batteries, eliminating electricity requirements for measurement and the need for battery replacement. Designed for stable operation over a long service life, the mechanical construction provides a practical option for customers seeking straightforward water metering with limited ongoing maintenance requirements.
